iPad 9.3.5 // 5ghz network shows up but tells me wrong password

I can connect fine with my Mac Mini as well as my MBA but my iPad 2 Retina gives me the proverbial finger when I try to connect to that frequency. This device can connect fine to a 5ghz network and did fine on 9.3.4. Since, the update, I'm told my password is incorrect (which is crap, I might add). Anyone know how to solve this?

Try to reboot your network:

1. Unplug both modem and router (if combined into one unit, unplug the single unit)

2. Plug in/boot the modem first, allowing one minute or so to stabilize

3. Plug in/boot the router second, allowing one minute or so to stabilize

4. Try to access your network again with the device

If no luck, try forgetting the network under Settings/Wi-Fi, tap the blue-circled "i", then tap "Forget This Network". Now reconnect to your Wi-Fi network again with the proper Wi-Fi password.
